Prayer Focus

Read Scripture to Enhance your Chair Time

If you are interested in additional materials for scripture reading, you can use the link provided below. This reading plan includes 5 chapters a week to enrich your chair time.

We also want to encourage you to spend time in prayer as a part of your daily devotional time with God. If you would like a prayer guide to follow you can find one here.

Below you will find other resources you might find helpful from past campaigns to encourage and strengthen your devotional time. Check out BiblePlans.org.

Read Scripture Plan 2020

Join together as a church in 2020 to simply Read Scripture.  Each person is encouraged to meet with God everyday as you pray, read scripture and reflect on God’s leading in your life. The plan is simple, sustainable, and self-reliant; set aside time to meet with God.

You can read your Bible, any devotional or use an app of your choosing.  However, if you are a more mature Christian who would like to read through the whole Bible this year, then we are recommending that you use the Read Scripture app on your phone or tablet.  It is a simple way to read the entire Bible in a year.  We want to provide encouragement and a few other resources to help you along the way.
